Description (partial)

This is an extremely rare configuration and is there in IOS possibly day-1. The best path of the network in the BGP VPN VRF table is deleted and none the remaining paths are made bestpath leaving the net without any bestpath.

When a net in VRF C gets 2 paths imported from VRF A and VRF B. These paths point to the same locally sourced next-hop. Then some operations inside the VRFs A or B may result in the best path of the net in C to disappear. Subsequently that net no longer get bestpath computed. Unless the source of this route is reset.
