Description (partial)

Symptom:
ptp_ctrlr process crash on ASR9k acting as PTP slave when process restart of ptp_ma process is done on the peer router.

Conditions:
Issue is not seen during normal operation.  
The trigger was some disturbance on the peer router, resulting in ASR9k slave device to lose PTP lock. The exact trigger is unknown and the crash was hit only once so far after quite a number of tries.
