Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco IPICS PMC Client Software

Known Affected Releases

4.9(0.3)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
MC IDC_The Talker ID of remote channels prefixed with x-mute ID, letter "X"

Conditions:
MC IDC_The Talker ID of remote channels prefixed with x-mute ID

Steps
---------
- Login to two MC IDCs with the same Cross Mute Group
- Create a channel, ch1, with a different location than the MC IDCs and associate it to both IDCs
- Have an UMS in the same location of the ch1
- Power up ch1 on both MC IDCs and since the location of the ch1 is different from the IDCs location, ch1 is hosted on UMS via SIP session and becomes a remote channel.
- PTT on ch1 from one of the IDCs
- The ch1 Talker ID displayed on the receiving IDC is prefixed with an ?X? which is x-mute ID

Expect
-------------
The Talker ID should not be prefixed with an ?X?, since ch1 is a remote channel in the above scenario and it's not x-muted.
