Description (partial)

When adding a CUC device to CUCDM 10.x from menu item <CmdBold>Device Management > CUC > Servers<noCmdBold>, a connection timeout error or a 401 authentication error is returned. The CUCDM transaction will be marked Failed and the reason listed as connection timeout or "HTTP Status 401 - type: Status report message: description: This request requires HTTP authentication".

This is caused by password expiry on the CUC server.
