Cisco Bug: CSCur75495 - Contact BLF fails to refresh within current search results

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Attendant Consoles

Known Affected Releases

10.0(1) 10.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If an operator searches for a subset of contacts, BLF is generated for the subset. If the operator then scrolls through the directory, hitting the 2000 device cache built into the server for status updates or a combination of operators are searching for contacts hitting that 2000 device cache limit, then until a new search is completed the BLF subscription for the existing contacts that were presented prior to the cache threshold being hit will not reflect BLF status.

Conditions:
This is a design limitation within the existing code, where the subscription for the referenced devices is not sent again until a new search is initiated or the contact is refreshed using the F2 key.
