Cisco Bug: CSCur74916 - Splice complete response is sent too late to ad server
Dec 31, 2016
- Cisco Digital Content Manager (DCM) Software
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The splice_complete response is sent later than is expected to the ad server. The ad server might abort the splice because it didn't receive a splice_complete response message in time. Conditions: A service is processed on the co-processor board in AVC mode and splicing is enabled. Both video and audio component are spliced. When there is a large difference in buffer level between video and audio, it can take long (up to 3.5s) for the audio to be spliced.
