Description (partial)

Symptom:
Pings not working to devices one L3 hop away. In fact, pings start to work but suddenly stop to reply by destination:

- Default-gateway set to a valid and reachable destination address

*Failed pings are evidences of an issue when trying to reach out any destination at more than one L3 hop away
