Description (partial)

Symptom:
- CUCM 9.1.2
- CUP 9.1.1
- jabber 10.5
- outlook 2010
- Presence issue between jabber and outlook
- The presence status of an available user is not reflected in outlook.
- similar behavior was seen on jabber 9.7.5 and 10.5.0
- presence status of a non-buddy list contact is not visible in outlook until the same user is searched.

Conditions:
You open up outlook , add some email id's in TO space , for example abc@tom.com<mailto:abc@tom.com then 123@tom.com<mailto:123@tom.com and hhh@tom.com<mailto:hhh@tom.com .
Now out of these three contacts two of them are in your contact list (abc/123) . You would be able to see their presence status in outlook . But for user hhh who is not in your jabber contact list does not show presence status. Now if you go into jabber client and search for user hhh the presence status will be shown in jabber and ironically the status appears in outlook too.
If you clear the cache of jabber client and try to add the same contact in outlook , presence does not work for non contact user. But searching the same contact in jabber makes status appear in outlook.
