Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco MDS 9000 NX-OS and SAN-OS Software

Known Affected Releases

7.1(0)ZN(91.92)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The command "fabric database auto-pull dot1q xxx" should not be allowed to be executed for DFA core-vlan and DFA backbone/BGP control-plane Vlan. The DFA core-vlan and the DFA backbone/BGP control-plane Vlan should never be used for host facing vlans. Today, we already dont allow to instantiate a tenant network based on a host dataplane trigger hosts for DFA core-vlan and DFA backbone/BGP control-plane Vlan.

Conditions:
DFA fabric with host workload automation on Nexus 5600/6000 series switches with releases with 7.1(0)N1(1b) or earlier.
