Cisco Bug: CSCur64130 - WiSM wireless client intermittently connects through wrong interface

Last Modified

Sep 12, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

7.6(120.12)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Intermittently we see several clients getting IP address from the default VLAN though we see it being associated to an AP which uses a different VLAN in AP Group.

Conditions:
APs in various AP groups depending upon the locations, where these groups have different VLANs defined, which is different from the default VLAN assigned to the WLAN.
The default VLAN assigned on the WLAN is not a part of any AP group and all the APs broadcasting this WLAN are using separate VLAN (not the default VLAN as on the WLAN).
