Cisco Bug: CSCur62241 - APIC web server rejects ssl connections from older clients

Last Modified

Sep 17, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)

Known Affected Releases

1.0(2g) 1.0(2i)

Description (partial)

The web server running on the APIC will forcibly close sessions that do not support at least TLS1.1 or TLS1.2.

Any session opened using older Python versions - like those that ship by default on most versions of MacOSX or were compiled against older versions of openssl - will fail to be able to connect to the APIC web server which is used to communicate with the APIC REST API.
