Description (partial)

Symptom:
L2 traffic was dropping after performing clean upgrade on Leaf and Spine

Conditions:
After the clean upgrade on all leaf and spine switches, forwarding issue is seen for L2 traffic. One of the Spines was in bad state after the fabric was up. It was stuck in the discovery state as it contained two supervisors and write erase was performed on one of them. Bad spine came up first with old config and forwarded that proxy info to all the Leaf switches. For some reason leaf switches ignored the proxy info sent by the other Spine switches which caused L2 traffic loss.
