Symptom: Error while activating / deactivating a SMU or Service Pack on 43x release over ASR9001/9006/9010. (ASR9K with ppc RP) The error seen can one of the below Error: Cannot proceed with the activation because of the following API Error: incompatibilities: Error: Checks failed for CRS-RP-X86, CRS8-RP-x86, CRS16-RP-x86 Error: 271 APIs with consumers but no producers. ————————— OR --------------------- Error: The install operation failed due to a system error. Please collect Error: diagnostic information using 'show tech-support install' and pass Error: this information to your TAC representative for support. (details: Error: 'Package Library' detected the 'fatal' condition 'unexpected null Error: parameter passed') Conditions: This issue is confined to RP with ppc architecture. The pre-condition for hitting the issue is downgrading to 43x from 51x (or from 52x). Once the box is up with 43x then installation of one reload SMU will go through. The subsequent installation of SMU or SP might hit this issue based on the impacted processes.
