Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software

Known Affected Releases

9.3(1.80)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Under heavy load, the data-plane connection between the ASA And the SourceFire module may be marked as failed in rare situations. This may cause a failover event since the module will be marked as un-healthy.

Conditions:
This is seen in deployments where a SourceFire FirePower module (physical or virtual) is installed within an ASA and there is a high rate of traffic being exchanged between the ASA and the module.
