Cisco Bug: CSCur53672 - ENH:NAC Agent uses NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM as user for non-admin machines

Last Modified

Jun 09, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) 3300 Series Appliances

Known Affected Releases

1.2(0.899)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
NAC Agent Posture assesment fails. The logs says that the user which tried to do the Remediation/software upgrade was NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.

Conditions:
This is seen when there is an internal server which allows only certain users to perform updates.
The NAC Agent is built in such a way that if a non-admin user tries to remediate and update a software, it used the NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM as a username instead of the Username used to login to the system.
