Description (partial)

Symptom:
The wireless microphones of the 8831 will only operating on certain wireless frequencies.  The wireless microphone region setting in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) has no effect on which frequencies the phone uses.  The phone will ignore the wireless microphone region setting.

Conditions:
Any 8831 phone running a firmware version that contains this fix.  This is informational and the wireless frequencies are purposefully locked to only allow the use of wireless frequencies which are allowed in that region.
