Last Modified

Sep 11, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

11.0(1d)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
After 12K EPs mobility from Leaf1 to Leaf2, it took maximum 13 seconds to converge the fabric.
There's no Coop copp drop on leaf and spine.
More flows we have on leaf, more time it takes to converge the fabric.

To do node mobility, shut one of flexlinks on L2SW at the bottom of the topology. Then 12K EPs move from Leaf1 to Leaf2(We call it node mobility).

At FCS, 12K EPs per leaf is supported.

Conditions:
[ Test Conditions ].
12000 endpoints(IPv4 and MAC address per EP).
Bidirectional 6000flows, 100fps/flow
Use Flexlink to virtualize node mobility.
