Cisco Bug: CSCur45282 - Adhoc rogues need switch port details after AutoSPT runs
Jan 04, 2017
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Adhoc rogues need switch port details after AutoSPT runs Conditions: 1. Login to PI 2. Configure Auto SPT on all rogue alarm severities. 3. Make sure PI is getting some adhoc rogue alarms 4. Also have an adhoc rogue setup which is connected only through wireless. - not on wire. Still, Auto SPT is running on adhoc rogues and giving the message - "rogue is found on wire." and alarm severity is moved to malicious threat. (which is wrong data ) No more information is available on the trace summary. Either Adhoc rogues should not be taken for autospt process --- OR -- trace status details should be provided to see the switch port details and SPT process- steps of tracing. Since adhoc rogues can be on wired too, second option will be more acceptable.
