Cisco Bug: CSCur42198 - Stop retrying sending credentials after a few tries

Last Modified

Sep 12, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Jabber Video for TelePresence (Movi)

Known Affected Releases

4.7 4.8

Description (partial)

When a call is made from Jabber Video for Telepresence, VCS sends 407 proxy authentication required. Jabber Video passes the credentials for that request but later on if there is 401 unauthorized send from VCSC and VCSE, the Jabber Video re-tries sending the credentials. This creates a continuous loop until the call is disconnected manually.

This mainly occurs if VCSC and VCSE is set with call policy or if the far end is sending 401 unauthorized message back to Jabber Video.
