Cisco Bug: CSCur40536 - CSV Contact import is ignoring leading 0's and +'s from telephone number

Last Modified

Mar 02, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Attendant Consoles

Known Affected Releases

10.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If you have contacts in the CSV file to be imported where the telephone number has a leading 0 or +, the import process drops those characters during the import process thus invalidating the number. For instance a number 0942 will be imported as 942 OR +1234 will be imported as 1234.

When importing the contacts, the process will complete successfully and you will see the referenced contacts within the directory just with the incorrect telephone number.

Conditions:
CUAC 10.5.1

The extension number begins with '0' or with +
