Cisco Bug: CSCur36443 - 3g QOS values are maintained after new attach into 4g
Dec 25, 2016
- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: 3G APN-AMBR values are maintained for new attach into 4G when new attach results in context replacement of existing stale 3G session of the same subscriber. Conditions: Subscriber UE is attached on 3G , switches of its battery and then powers on 4G IRAT. This results in context replacement of old 3G session of the subscriber as UE is trying to do new attach on 4G. However, during this context replacement scenario, APN-AMBR used for old 3G session was ratained even for newly crated 4G sessions. Issue would not be seen if there is no context replacement or there is proper handoff from 3G to 4G.
