Last Modified

Aug 26, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence Conductor

Known Affected Releases

XC2.4

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When a primary TelePresence Conductor fails (for example during a reboot/shutdown/or network outage), it may take several minutes for the secondary conductor to take over. During this time the Conductor will stop providing conferencing services.

Conditions:
The length of time that it takes for a secondary unit to take over depends significantly on how contactable the various managed bridges are, as each bridge must be contacted to resolve and avoid conflicts.
