Cisco Bug: CSCur34218 - internal vxlan ns objects are getting exported, failing on import

Last Modified

May 15, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)

Known Affected Releases

7.1(0)ZN(91.99)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If a vShield controller is configured and operational in version before 1.0(2h), then a policy based upgrade to 1.0(2h) or subsequent release will fail. Also, exported configuration containing vShield controller from APIC below version 1.0(2h) can not be imported back in APIC running software version 1.0(2h) or above

Conditions:
This occurs when vShield controller is configured operational. Then a configuration export is done with this vShield controller. Subsequently, the APIC is upgraded to 1.0(2h), and the exported configuration is imported. This import will fail due incompatibility of an internal managed object in vShield configuration
