Cisco Bug: CSCur32662 - aclmgr cores @ iterate_pacl_destinations during ISSU

Last Modified

Sep 17, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

6.2(10)S102

Description (partial)

Symptom:
During an ISSU from 6.2.8a to 6.2.10, if there are ACLs applied on port channel members, the aclmgr will keep crashing on the supervisor card.

Conditions:
This issue happened during ISSU from 6.2.8a to 6.2.10, if there are ACLs applied on port channel members, the aclmgr will keep crashing. This can happen when we applied ACLs on some interfaces and later on we change these interfaces to port channel members. In this situation, due to an existing issue in 6.2.8a (which has been fixed in 6.2.10), the ACLs on the member interface will not be removed, which will cause the aclmgr crash during ISSU.

Has anybody ran into this issue by upgrading from 6.1.1 to 62.8b ? NO ACLs applied in any of the VDCs of the box. I have a couple of 7Ks and the secondary was upgraded just fine, but the primary one is giving me exactly the same problem even tough I'm not running the versions indicated, nor ACLs are configured. Thanks DL.
