Description (partial)
Symptom: On leaf switches with Dynamic Fabric Automation enabled only 4 routes will be installed within the same VLAN with the same mac-address in a given vrf. Although we have ARP entries for more than 4 IPs with same mac-address only 4 routes will be installed. Example: USDALDC-LFB3-B(config)# sh ip arp | in 0050.56b5.745d 10.218.44.5 00:12:46 0050.56b5.745d Vlan644 10.218.44.6 00:12:41 0050.56b5.745d Vlan644 10.218.44.7 00:10:22 0050.56b5.745d Vlan644 10.218.44.8 00:09:50 0050.56b5.745d Vlan644 10.218.44.9 00:16:18 0050.56b5.745d Vlan644 USDALDC-LFB3-B(config)# show fabric forwarding internal mac-bd local-host-db 0050.56b5.745d 644 HMM MAC-BD DB information for VRF default MAC Address : 0050.56b5.745d BD : 644 Host Information for address family IPv4, refcount 4, Max Limit Log: True Host: 10.218.44.8/32 mac: 0050.56b5.745d, svi: Vlan644, bd: 644, phy_intf: Ethernet151/1/10 Host: 10.218.44.7/32 mac: 0050.56b5.745d, svi: Vlan644, bd: 644, phy_intf: Ethernet151/1/10 Host: 10.218.44.6/32 mac: 0050.56b5.745d, svi: Vlan644, bd: 644, phy_intf: Ethernet151/1/10 Host: 10.218.44.5/32 mac: 0050.56b5.745d, svi: Vlan644, bd: 644, phy_intf: Ethernet151/1/10 Conditions: Dynamic Fabric Automation should be implemented. Same Mac-address should be mapped to more than 4 IPs in the same VLAN.
