Last Modified

Apr 01, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

9.1(2.10000.28)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
High CPU consumed by LBM process and delay in call setup.

Conditions:
This issue occurs only when LBM Inter Cluster replication is configured between CUCM clusters and very high traffic ( with high call per second rate ) is run.

LBM NETWORK:

LEAF-CLUSTER1(2 nodes hub) ------------ SME (2 nodes hub) -------------LEAF-CLUSTER2 (1 node hub)

Very High Volume Traffic is running between (LEAF-CLUSTER1)---------ICT----------(SME)

LEAF-CLUSTER1 and SME LBM hub loose connection with each other causing remote LBM Out of Service.
Issue starts occurring when this link comes back in service, as both LBM Hubs on each cluster start sending very high number of refresh reservation traffic to each other causing high CPU and core dump.
