May 15, 2015
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The device is responding with wrong value type for some OIDs from the ciscoFlashMib. For instance: ciscoFlashPartitionSize is reported back as Integer, although the MIB is designed to receive Gauge32 or Unsigned32. The same logic applies for ciscoFlashParition, or ciscoFlashFileSize. This bug will cause problems with Network Management Systems such as Prime Infrastructure since the application will receive invalid data from the device, which will cause Software Image Distribution Jobs to fail. Conditions: The issue has been noticed on 3750 with IOS c3750-ipservices-mz.122-35.SE5. Other IOS releases from similar train may also be affected.
