Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Headend System Releases

Known Affected Releases

ecs-2.0-10-1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The IFM Admin logs are not listed in the Audit List. The following logs /opt/CSCOlumos/logs/nms_launchout*.log and /opt/CSCOlumos/logs/launchout*.log had errors indicating that port 61617 was already in use.

Error --- launchout-1.log:java.io.IOException: Failed to bind to server socket: tcp://localhost:61617 due to: java.net.BindException: Address already in use

Only way to fix this issue now in the customer site is to bounce CMC.

sh /usr/local/cm/bin/controlcenter.sh cmc_pm stop

Check if port is available lsof ?i:61617

sh /usr/local/cm/bin/controlcenter.sh cmc_pm start

Long term solution will be to put a check to make sure CMC doesn't come up if port 61617 is not available.
