Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS-XE (IOSd) include a version of SSL that is affected by the vulnerability identified by the Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE) IDs:


This bug has been opened to address the potential impact on this product.

The following features are capable of negotiating SSLv3 sessions and are therefore vulnerable :

- SSLVPN feature (for any platform running IOS) ("webvpn gateway")
- SSLVPN feature (for CSR1000V running IOS-XE) ("crypto ssl profile")
- HTTPS client feature ("copy https://... ...", DynDNS client, ...)
- Voice-XML HTTPS client feature
- HTTPS server feature ("ip http secure-server")
- CNS feature
- Settlement for Packet Telephony feature
- LDAPv3 client feature
- CMTS billing feature
