Symptom: In ASDM the default 'media-type' for interfaces of card ASA-IC-6GE-SFP-C is 'RJ-45' and there is an option to change it to SFP in drop down. When the drop down option is used to change the interface Gig1/0 media-type to 'SFP', following error is presented by the ASDM after applying the changes. [OK] Interface GigabitEthernet1/0 Interface GigabitEthernet1/0 [ERROR] media-type SFP media-type SFP ^ ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker. [OK] no speed nonegotiate Conditions: Trying to change the interface 'media-type' to SFP for the ASA interface expansion card ASA-IC-6GE-SFP-C.
