Known Affected Releases

2.5.1.28

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Your system has been running CWMS 2.0 version, and is primary only without HA.

You updated CWMS 2.0 to CWMS 2.5, and sometime later, you decided that you want to add HA to your system.

Since you have 2.0 OVA, you build your HA (standalone) without the 2.0 ova, but after the HA FTE, you need to update it first to 2.5, to the same 2.5 version as on your primary, before you can add the HA into the primary.

First, you update the standalone HA of 2.0 version to 2.0 MR5, then again from 2.0 MR5 to 2.5. When update to 2.5 is completed, UI will display a pop-up overlay with congratulatory message that HA has been update from 2.0.1.xxx to 2.5. There will also be a green 'Restart' button, which you click to restart the standalone HA.

After the HA VMs exist from a restart, it should re-display the "HA has been updated" UI but instead, you get a corrupted UI showing messages such as:

"If you want to change to a different system size, then quit this installer"

"In vCenter, power down the Admin virtual machine, then delete it. Redeploy the OVA and select the Admin virtual machine for the correct size"
