Cisco Bug: CSCur11755 - Allow user to get to ROMMON CLI after all attempts to boot fail.
Nov 09, 2016
- Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The Kenton system was in a continual state of reboot without the user being able to stop the reboot cycle and get to the Kenton ROMMON CLI prompt. Conditions: User must have disabled the ROMMON start-up break sequence and reformatted the disk0 entity to remove unwanted data. This left the system in a continual state of auto-boot without the ability to boot a program or the user being able to break into the ROMMON CLI to take corrective measures.
