Cisco Bug: CSCur10621 - Unhandled Exception Restoring Replication After Upgrade

Description (partial)

During an upgrade to MediaSense 10.5 the upgrade appears to be succeeding, but ultimately fails with no obvious signs of failure. Examining the upgrade log there is an exception reported relating to checking on the replication sub-process and the install terminates with a failure shortly after that.

This is a timing issue; if we manage to check for the sub-process at the wrong moment it triggers the exception due to a Python bug and lack of an exception handler then causes the whole upgrade to fail.
This can occur while upgrading the secondary node, it does not occur on the primary or extension node upgrades.
This is more likely to occur on an upgrade with millions of RecordingSessions.
This has only occurred during an upgrade to 10.5 and has been corrected in 11.0.
