Symptom:
This is a documentation defect to modify this line in the clustering configuration guide:

Configure a MAC address for a Spanned Ether-Channel so that the MAC address does not change when the current master unit leaves the cluster:

Configuring a manual MAC address for a spanned etherchannel is required to avoid potential network connectivity issues.

Conditions:
ASA configured for Layer 2 clustering without a virtual MAC address.
