Symptom: When attempting to log in through MRA using a Jabber client, if you type the wrong credentials the client will attempt to log in multiple times with the wrong credentials which can cause the account to lock depending on the lockout policy in use. The user will get the error back incorrect username or password. Conditions: When logging into the client the for the first time if you put in the wrong credentials you will see at least two attempts to authenticate with those credentials. If you log in with the correct credentials then you log off and try to log back in with incorrect credentials the client will try to authenticate multiple times (more than two attempts). Seems that the mobile clients (Android, IOS) will try to authenticate more times than the desktop clients. But both desktop and mobile clients will try to authenticate more than once.
