Cisco Bug: CSCur03163 - Admin Override to access Device List

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Attendant Consoles

Known Affected Releases

10.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If the Device List contains entries, and all entries are invalid devices, then there's no way for the user/admin to sign into the application. The user/admin would have to delete the SQLite DB and start from scratch.
This improvement adds an Administrator Override, which pops the File > Options > Device List Tab (or Options Password tab if Options Password is enabled) and allows the admin to add valid devices to the Device List (or remove all devices from the Device List, which allows any device associated with the Application User on CUCM to be used to sign in). They can then close the Options dialog box and sign in with a valid device.

Conditions:
If the device list contains entries and all of the entries were invalid devices, there is no way for the user/administrator to sign in the application. This enhancement allows access to the device list tab in order to add valid devices, or remove all devices, allowing for the user/administrator to log in to the application.
