Description (partial)
Symptom: A port or ports go down and loopback tests fail unexpectedly. shutdown and no shutdown of an affected port does not clear the condition. The following type of syslog messages for multiple linecards may be logged: %DIAG_PORT_LB-2-INT_PORT_LOOPBACK_TEST_FAIL: Module:3 Test:Internal PortLoopback failed 10 consecutive times. Faulty module: affected ports:44 Error:Loopback test failed. Packets possibly lost on the switch fabric %DIAG_PORT_LB-2-INT_PORT_LOOPBACK_TEST_FAIL: Module:7 Test:Internal PortLoopback failed 10 consecutive times. Faulty module: affected ports:11,15 Error:Loopback test failed. Packets lost on the SUP in the transmit direction Conditions: This issue only applies to the MDS 9700 DS-X9448-768K9 linecard.
