Description (partial)

Symptom:
An LDAP import or CUCM data sync where new users are imported into CUCDM may cause overall CUCDM system delays.  A common symptom observed is that while customer A is performing an LDAP user sync or CUCM user sync, customer B may experience longer than average provisioning times for adding, updating, or deleting subscribers.

Conditions:
The larger the amount of users imported at one time for the LDAP import or CUCM user import, the larger the impact to the system.  An import size of 100 to 200 users in customer A can increase provisioning times in customer B by 1.5 to 2 times.  An import size of 500 and larger in an import in customer A can significantly increase provisioning times in customer B by 3 or more times.
LDAP imports and CUCM user imports spawn off many child transactions that process in parallel.  Other transactions such as bulk loading, API, regular CUCM and CUCxn imports which run serially do not have these large impacts on the system.
