Cisco Bug: CSCuq95156 - CSR1000v config drive not applied in Red Hat Openstack

Last Modified

  • Cisco Cloud Services Router 1000V Series

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The CSR1000v config drive file is not applied to CSR in Red Hat Openstack.

The cause was due to the string comparison in the vxe.mount file. The value in the \
/etc/nova/release file is picked up and detected by the vxe.mount script. The \
contents of release are below.

[Nova]
vendor = Red Hat
product = OpenStack Compute
package = 4.el7ost

The fix just looks for "OpenStack" instead of keeping "OpenStack Nova" and adding \
"OpenStack Compute"
