Cisco Bug: CSCuq95153 - Quick Add Subscriber doesnt auto populate fields from normalized user

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)

Known Affected Releases

10.1(1)

Description (partial)

Usernames available in the drop down are all Normalized users. Their values can be pre-populated in the Quick Add Subscriber Fields by reading the normalized user selected from the username drop down.

Since subscriber Management lets you add an existing manual user as subscriber, we can expect the same user to be populated as username in QAS.Manually added users are also normalized users. The selector should show all the normalized users.

Symptom:
The username is selected from the username drop down but the other fields associated to that user in data/NormalizedUser don't get populated.

LDAP synced user fields are editable. They should be read only

The username drop down doesn't populate other normalized users like manual users added from CUCDM

Conditions:
1) Create LDAP Server at CustomerA
2) Configure CUCM with ldap directory name of the server above
3) Add CUCM device on CUCDM at CustomerA
4) Sync the users from LDAP at CustomerA.Make sure the LDAP user is asssigned firstname, lastname,Email address and password.
5) Move the user to SiteA
6) Go to Quick Add Subscriber at SiteA and select the ldap user from the username dropdown.

After selecting user at Step6 I expect the other fields like FirstName , LastName, EmailAddress,Password etc. to be populated from the Normalized User.

Also the Fields should be read only since he is Ldap Integrated.

In Step1 add a manual user and move to Site Level and then go to QAS to add a subscriber. This manual user should also get populated in the username drop down.
