Description (partial)
Symptom: A maximum of 16 virtual drives can be carved out of a *single drive group* using the CLI, WebUI, or XML API. Conditions: The first virtual drive creation implicitly creates a *drive group* consisting of a set of physical drives and of a specific RAID level. Using the CLI, WebUI, or XML API, only 15 more virtual drives can be created using the unused space in that drive group before the carve operation will fail, even though plenty of unused space is available on the drive group.
