Symptom: CDSM page shows error when ASX files are prepositioned. Conditions: 1)check version of image in cdsm 2)delivery service --> create new /already created delivery service-->delivery service content--->manifest url ---> give the server ip and path for manifest file 3) please check that the file mentioned in the path exists in the server and that the file contains an asx file. 4) validate manifest file to check no errors and fetch the manifest file -- submit 5) go to replication page and check the replication status 6)click on GO under "View Detailed Replication Status for Delivery Service by Device" and "View Detailed Replication Status" we see that there is an error message " Error - Unable to scan for play length " even when the content is successfully replicated.
