Cisco Bug: CSCuq88973 - SAF CCD unable to successfully generate large updates

Last Modified

Feb 25, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

8.6(2.24100.2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Problem Description:
Large scale changes to the Hosted DN Patterns while the Advertising service is active cause CUCM to enter a defect state. Once this has occurred, the cluster is no longer able to propagate changes in its Hosted DN configuration out to remote CCD nodes. As a result, patterns cannot be added, deleted, or modified. Any patterns that are already in the global table for the affected cluster will stay in a reachable state indefinitely (unless an unrelated network/saf forwarder issue cause connectivity problems).

Conditions:
When updating (add/remove) large scale(100 or more) patterns from CCD Hosted DN Pattern page in a batch.
