Cisco Bug: CSCuq87155 - ISE sets posture to non-compliant when incorrect packet is received
Feb 27, 2020
- Cisco Identity Services Engine
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The issue occurs when discovery and login packet request were sent via one interface and posture report is sent via different interface. ISE tries to decrypt the packet with the key of the interface it received the packet from. Since the packet was encrypted with a different key, ISE is not able to decrypt the packet. ISE assumes the packet is corrupt and issues CoA for non-compliance. Conditions: Issue occurs randomly. Enable both wired and wireless interface and make sure their metrics are very close. Not sure how the routing table is changed in the middle of the process. The change n routing table is controlled by OS, not related to Nac agent.
