Cisco Bug: CSCuq84980 - LISP DPS: netio crash on initial configuration
Jun 28, 2019
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Netio crashes in rare circumstances, when LISP is configured as (P)XTR, and remote locators are transiently reachable of over LISP. Conditions: Router should be configured as a LISP (P)XTR and remote routing locators must themselves be reachable over LISP. This is typically a reflection of a misconfiguration in routing (remote locators should not be reachable over LISP) or some transient routing condition. Note that in cases where LISP use-petr is configured on an ITR, short mask lengths for negative map cache entries might increase the likelihood of encountering the issue by virtue of the RLOC being covered by the negative map cache entry.
