Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

5.1.2.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
ATM PVC goes down. When OAM is configured on a PVC in some cases, once AIS is received, the VC does not recover once the AIS condition no longer persists.

Conditions:
PVC should be configured with OAM and also service policy. Once received F5 AIS OAM from an ATM network, the VC remains in "Receiving AIS/RDI" status even though the AIS condition no longer persists.

Trigger for such a condition to occur is modification of service policy while the policy is still attached to the PVC or removal of the service policy from the PVC.
