Cisco Bug: CSCuq82859 - 8945 SIP secure mode - Predot number is disappeared on Call history

Last Modified

Mar 20, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified IP Phone 6900 Series

Known Affected Releases

9.4(2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When 8945 phone user places a call to PSTN side(eg. DN 9xxxx), 9 is stripped by route-pattern(VG is connected thru SIP trunk)
In this case, the user just can see pre-dot number removed number only on IPPhone call history info(e.g. xxxx) even the phone user actually hit 9xxxx when he tried to place a call.
So the phone user should hit a whole number again(9xxxx) - not able to use call history info for redial.

Conditions:
The problem symptom happened on SIP894x.9-4-2-8 with only secure mode of IPPhone.
It doesn't happen on SIP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.
