Description (partial)

Symptom:
The Configure a Database Drive procedure should be updated as follows:

Step 1 Choose Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.

Step 2 Under Storage, click Disk Management.

Step 3  Right-click on the  Disk1 box and select Online.

Step 4  Initialize the disk by right-clicking on Disk 1 again, and selecting Initialize Disk.  Check the Disk 1 checkbox. Select the MBR (Master Boot Record) radio button.  Click OK. 

Step 5 Create a new disk partition as follows:

a. Right-click on the graphic display of Disk 1 ( under the unallocated space) and choose New simple volume. The New Simple volume Wizard starts.

b. Click Next on the first page of the Wizard.

c. On the Specify Volume Size page, retain default volume size.  Click Next.

d. On the Assign Drive Letter or Path page, assign a drive letter (E).  Click Next.

e. On the Format Partition page, format the partition as follows: select Format this volume with the following settings radio button, select NTFS from the File system drop down menu, select Default from the Allocation unit size drop down menu, Enter a value in the Volume label field, and check the Perform a quick format checkbox.  Click Next.

f. Click Finish.

The format is complete when the status changes to Healthy.
