Description (partial)
Symptom: A random vlan is getting set for auto-config when during auto-configuration of the native vlan while sending untagged traffic. Conditions: Auto-config has to be enabled, along with "switchport trunk native vlan <>" on the port. The profile for auto-config must move vlans from CE mode to Fabricpath. It is during this change to fabricpath the vlan is going down and packets come in on a random vlan, as there is not a native vlan up to be learned on.
