Symptom: In a Cisco ASR 5500, a reboot of a DPC2 may, on rare occasion, fail because DIMMs are not detected on one of the sockets in a CPU subsystem. The card is is kept off line. Logs indicate that the failure is related to "Invalid Memory Size." (Device=CPU_0, Reason=CARD_BOOT_TIMEOUT_EXPIRED, Status=[BOARD:] [CPU0 MB: CFE_RAM: Step 12 HB_cpu: Error ID: None BPL: None] [CPU1 MB: LINUX_RC: Step 4 HB_cpu: 0F:00 Error ID: None BPL: None] [CPU2 MB: CFE_ROM: Step 14 HB_cpu: 0F:00 Error ID: None BPL: Invalid Memory Size Detected -> Aborting Boo] [CPU3 BPL: None]) Conditions: In a Cisco ASR 5500 with DPC2 installed, a DPC2 is rebooted.
